Frequencies: A Journey Through Sound and Consciousness

Reimagining Binaural Beats without Binaural Beats for Modern Listeners

As an artist, there's always that one project that haunts you - not because it was bad, but because you know it could have been better. For me, that project was the original "Frequencies" album. Recently, I decided to revisit this work, armed with years of production experience and better sound design capabilities.

The original album, which explored specific binaural beat frequencies (hence the name), is no longer available on music platforms. However, the core material always had potential. What it needed was a fresh perspective and more modern production techniques. This realization led to the creation of a new EP featuring five carefully crafted tracks.

The Tracks

1. Intuitive Memory This opening track is designed to enhance memory recall through selected chord progressions and sonic textures. The goal is to create an auditory environment that might help listeners access their happiest memories.

2. Healing Awake Drawing inspiration from Trip Hop, this track maintains alertness while promoting relaxation. Small glitches and subtle sound designs keep the mind engaged while the overall atmosphere soothes the soul.

3. Detached Awareness This piece aims to create a floating sensation while maintaining groundedness - a musical paradox that allows listeners to explore altered states of consciousness while staying present.

4. Intuitive Visualization Through specific chord progressions and carefully chosen sounds, this track is crafted to enhance creative visualization, helping listeners tap into their imaginative potential.

5. Creative Waves The EP's finale represents the biggest departure from the original version. By adding vocals and embracing more pop-oriented production, this track bridges the experimental nature of the project with accessible musical forms. And this is the one of the video above.
